Orcieres in summer

Orcieres 1850 has a special dedicated children's area - exclusive to the under 12s: 'La Petite Ourse' (little bear) welcomes all children from 3 months to 11 years old and is the centre for all children's activities in the resort (creche, child care, games....) all south facing and situated in fairytale, alpine countryside !

With an indoor children's centre of 435m2 and 2 hectares of green space with a little lake, La 'Petite Ourse' is a perfect place for little ones to be. Age differentiated children's clubs, calm rooms for afternoon naps and sleeps, a big screen, meals and a cocktail of activities laid on by professionals : games, sports, nature walks...

Children from 3 months to 6 years are welcomed at the 'Club des Oursons' (the bear club). The days games and activities alternate between indoor and outdoor  with time aside for naps adapted to your child's needs.

For the 'big ones' from age 6 to 12 there is the 'Club des Éterlous', with a varied programme of themed activities, creative workshops, nature walks and swimming games.

The local team of mountain leaders work regularly with children and offer a variety of walks and bike rides that your little one can join.  All outings are organised by age and adapted to suit the groups' needs and interests.

The mountains can inspire children of all ages: wildlife, flowers, plants, shepherds and agriculture...  in and around Orcieres or in the Ecrins National Park.
