Between 1600 and 1650m above sea level, slightly away from the road to the resort sprawls the hamlet of Les Marches overlooking the Champsaur Valley.
The hamlet is within walking distance from the station for a ride on the balcony mountain range. It is possible to make a loop to and from the arrival of the station (see below).
Make a detour through the narrow streets of the village to discover the Saint Roch chapel, probably dating from the late eighteenth century but completely renovated in 2007 in association with the Heritage Foundation.
You may also wish to follow the alpine meadows to the "Forest des Marches", which has a dozen cottages farmhouses dependent hamlet families went there once during the summer months in order to keep the animals. The houses are publishers fied according to a plan identical ground floor to the barn floor for housing, attics and cellars.
