Orcieres 1850 have embraced the 'Family Friendly Mountain' label by recognising the needs of young and old alike, creating a family friendly ambiance and providing skiing for all levels. And so that the whole family can enjoy the pistes, Orcieres is the only resort to offer three telemixes (a mixture of chairs and cable cars on the same lift - great for non-skiers or little ones too small for the chairlifts).
There are activities and events for all ages with family friendly prices. Your children are superbly looked after in resort with the "Petite Ourse", a family room, a medical service for cuts and bruises... and with its beautiful glass walls refracting the sunlight there is the "Grande Ourse" with ice skating, bowling, cinema and swimming pool.

The Family Friendly award is a national award given to tourist destinations and resorts that have committed to prioritising facilities and services favouring families and children. Orcieres 1850's 6 commitments :
