To get this crazy day off to a flying start, we’re going to start with a muscular wake-up call. Take the time to do a few muscle stretches to music to warm up, because the cold and the altitude can’t be improvised!
Then prepare yourself a champion’s breakfast (fruit juice, coffee, pastries, cereals, etc.) to fill up on energy.
It’s important to check the weather forecast for the day so that you’re well covered up (too much is better than too little), and to bring your UV mask and sun cream. And don’t forget to take a rucksack with you, along with a snack and water to keep you hydrated at altitude.
Then, with your ski pass in hand, hit the slopes! Skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing or tobogganing: it doesn’t matter what you choose, the important thing is to enjoy yourself. At mid-morning, take a break in the sun to rest your legs (which must have warmed up) and enjoy a delicious hot chocolate on the terrace of the Bergerie des Baniols.
