Certification

► The resort is implementing the “Orcières Qualité Confort Hébergement” label, which is expressed from 1 to 5 “claws” and is based on qualitative criteria: aesthetics, comfort, level of facilities, services, etc… It is recognised throughout the “Orcières” destination. This local label complements the national “Meublé de Tourisme” classification, which has a number of advantages: tax status, visibility outside the destination, etc. (see section below). However, the latter does not fully meet customer expectations and current standards of comfort. This Quality approach is providing the impetus for an overhaul of Orcières’ accommodation offering.

► The Label’s quality criteria are divided into 3 categories: mandatory requirements, recommended and bonus. They are set out in a qualitative reference framework (download the reference framework). Some criteria are still accepted, but require coaching in relooking or renovation to achieve the Comfort Quality Objective (see renovation section). Other criteria are prohibited.

Mandatory criteria
Harmony of colours, harmony of textiles, uniformity of furniture.
Duvets, pillows, mattress and pillow protectors, coat hooks, sufficient sockets, bath/shower screen, towel dryer.
Extractor hood, assorted crockery/glasses/cutlery, sufficient kitchen equipment and utensils.
Dishwasher, washing machine, flat-screen TV.
Wifi, tourist information, bed linen/household linen/toiletries available for hire, childcare equipment available for hire.
Outdoor furniture, terrace or garden.
Reception of guests by the owner or an agent.

To organise your labelling visits:
To be awarded the label, your flat must be classified as a “Meublé de Tourisme”. For those that are not yet classified, the label award visit can take place at the same time as the classification visit.
