Located on the north side of the Orcières Leisure Base, between the hamlets of Archinard and Serre-Eyraud, the Via Ferrata on the Arthouze Rock is composed of 4 progressively difficult courses, from "green" to "black".
Since 2011, the Via Ferrata du Rocher d'Arthouze has complemented the possibilities for everyone to try out climbing and rugged mountain routes. This rocky route is secured by a cable and metal steps and accessible from the age of 6. The Via Ferrata (from the Italian "railway") is a fun activity combining the pleasures of hiking and climbing. This Via Ferrata is accessible to children from 6 years old to experts. Its access is free. Mandatory Equipment: Helmet, harness equipped with 2 lanyards with energy absorber and carabiners.
